Go by Telepass is a new product for light vehicles (cars, motorcycles) that makes it possible to pay highway tolls and parking facilities in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, on ferries and in Milan's Area C with a single device, using a pay-per-use formula.

Go by Telepass has an activation fee of € 15 (incl. VAT) plus a monthly fee of € 4 (incl. VAT) in the calendar month in which it is used, up to a maximum of € 36 per year.

The usage fee is only applied once per calendar month, regardless of the number of transactions made in participating countries.

There is no fee in the months when Telepass is not used for one of the associated services.

You can activate Go by Telepass and receive your new device at www.telepass.com or the mobile app for iOS and Android.

Yes. Go by Telepass includes a fortnightly spending cap, divided according to your vehicle type:

  • € 350 on a fortnightly billing cycle for bicycles, motorcycles and cars
  • € 500 on a fortnightly billing cycle for 3-axle vehicles.

Yes, Go by Telepass can only be activated using a credit card from one of the main international circuits (Amex, Diners, Visa, Mastercard). The product cannot be activated using a pre-paid card or debit card.

NOTE: for activation to be successful, the Telepass Go contract holder be the same as the credit card holder.

You will receive a Go by Telepass bill once every 2 weeks, on the 23rd and the 8th day of the month. The Telepass fee will be charged on the 23rd of the following month. Toll, parking, ferry and Area C services will be charged according to the following system:

  • 23rd of the month for transactions between the 1st and 15th of the month;
  • 8th of the month for transactions from the 16th to the end of the month.

In order to register and access the reserved area you will need the ID code, an alphanumeric code of sixteen characters communicated by Telepass when the contract is signed and sent by postal service to the user.

The Telepass customers who register at the site have at their disposal a reserved area in which it is possible to view all the information of the contract, their transactions and invoices, and manage independently many operations such as the update of addresses and license plates, activation of services as the area C and Telepass Pay, the request for the Premium option and Telepass Twin. To access the reserved area, if the contract is signed at a Blue Point or at a bank, you must register using the ID code received via email or letter. In the case of adherence online, the registration will be done at the same time and you can immediately enter into your reserved area.

To access the reserved area from your smartphone you can download the dedicated Telepass app, both for IOS and for Android. Alternatively you can access the reserved area also from the web at telepass.com

The Car Insurance service offers Telepass Family and Business customers the possibility to purchase, through the Telepass App, Car Insurance policies and additional warranties issued in partnership with insurance companies. In the specific, upon approval from the insurance company, you can add the following warranties to your policy:

  • driver's personal injury;
  • theft and fire;
  • liability;
  • glass & windshield protection;
  • Kasko collision;
  • claim protection;
  • bonus protection.

The policy charge is applied in the end of the reference month; if the purchase was made in the last days of the month, then the charge will be made in the following month. The charge is independent from the expiration of your regular quarterly payments which won't undergo any variations due to the policy purchase. Keep in mind that the policy charge will be debited together with all the Telepass expenses accrued up to that moment (tolls, parking, ferries, etc.). For the Business contracts, the policy charge follows the regular cycle of the monthly billing.

You will be able to cancel the policy within 14 days of purchase, without stating a reason. After 14 days, however, the insurance cover will end according to the detailed contractual conditions listed on the policy. You will be responsible for a sum corresponding to the total fees indicated on the insurance contract (in addition to the contribution to the National Health System in case of Car Insurance warranty) and the insurance premium accrual corresponding to the time period you benefited from the policy.

If you have activated your contract online you can quickly change the IBAN number associated with your contract by accessing the reserved area of the website or from the Telepass App. If your new bank is among those affiliated to the activation of the Telepass service with bank card or credit card, you can go to a Blue Point and ask them to move the direct debit.

If you see this message and you can't proceed, it's possible that your number plate is being used on another device. To finalize your signing up online we invite you to insert the number plate of a different vehicle, if you have one, or to fill in the form under the Support section and attach your vehicle registration document.

You can link one device only to the Family Contract with a monthly cost of 1.26 euros. Although you can request the Telepass Twin offer that allows you to obtain on the same contract a second device (with roadside assistance included for Italy only) with a monthly cost of 2.10 euros as per below:

  • monthly fee for the device at a cost of 0.60 euros (instead of 1.26)
  • monthly fee for the Premium option at a cost of 1.50 euros.

Net of existing promotions, if you have signed up to the Telepass Family and Telepass Pay Plus services the monthly charge is 1.24 euros (VAT included) in addition of the Telepass Family fee (1.26 euros VAT included). The Telepass Pay Plus monthly fee will increase to 1.50 euros in case the Family contract is cancelled. Download the Telepass Pay APP and discover all the dedicated services.

The Telepass Pay Zero offer allows you to use the Street Parking service through the Telepass Pay App and does not include any additional fee as compared to the one associated to Telepass Family.

You can withdraw from Telepass Pay at any time without penalty and without closing costs simply by deactivating the account from your Reserved Area. After you log in to the Reserved Area, follow this path: Contract - Telepass Pay - Deactivate account.

You can change your monthly spending limits directly from the Telepass Pay App or from the Reserved Area of the site. You can choose between different limit options: from a minimum of €500 up to a maximum of €1,500 that you can spend on your mobility services.

Telepass Pay X is a new payment solution created in collaboration with BNL and that allows you to pay for all your travel and shopping through the Telepass Pay X App.

The offer, free of charge for two years, includes:

  • Telepass payment services (tolls, parking in facilities, etc.) with a quarterly charge on any bank account;
  • Telepass Pay mobility services (Street Parking, Fuel, Taxi, Skipass etc.) with immediate debit on a BNL payment account;
  • a BNL payment account that you can reload to use Telepass Pay services and for your purchases;
  • a prepaid card associated with the BNL account for POS and e-commerce transactions.

At the end of the two years, the monthly Telepass Pay X fee will be € 2.50 (VAT included).

The BNL account is an account with limited functions compared to a traditional bank account and it is strictly linked to the execution of payment transactions. The payments made with the prepaid card on the Mastercard circuit and the services offered by Telepass Pay will be debited to this account.

The BNL account allows also the Telepass Pay X customers who have an account at a different bank to have access to the offer. Download the Telepass Pay X APP to view all the dedicated services.

As a Telepass Pay X customer you can have a virtual/physical prepaid card, active on the Mastercard circuit, linked to your BNL account that you can use to make your purchases in a safe, innovative way at all the retailers or websites that adhere to the Mastercard circuit in Italy and abroad.

Through the contactless technology, you will be able to make your purchases in all the stores displaying the symbol simply by approaching the card to the POS and for amounts under 25 euros you won't need a PIN code.

For all online payments, in addition to the 16 digits displayed on the front of the card, you have to provide the 3 digits security code CVC2 on the back of the card and the expiration date. This data is also available on the Telepass Pay X APP. To make your transactions more secure, the security code is updated at each use. Also, you will be able to confirm all your purchases on all websites that participate to Mastercard ID Check using the Telepass Pay X APP in an easy and safe way.

You can withdraw cash anywhere. To manage the balance on your prepaid card there is a dedicated section on the Telepass Pay X APP.

  • From the Telepass Pay or Telepass Pay X App select the Fuel Service by clicking on the ""Refuel"" tab;

  • Geolocate your position and then select the distributor closest to you. Make sure to check the payment method, since you can pay to refuel in two ways: either with the Telepass Pay App or with the Telepass Device;

  • Simply refuel and at the end you will find the transaction recorded directly in your App.

You can use your Telepass Device to pay for refueling at service stations affiliated with Telepass Pay.

In this case, you simply need to tell the operator at the affiliated station that you wish to pay with your Telepass. The operator will complete the payment by placing a special POS near the windshield where the Telepass device is located and you will need to confirm the payment via your App.

You will always be able to find the record of the operation in the Transactions Archive of your App!

With the Telepass Pay or Telepass Pay X App you can easily pay for refueling:

  • if you are at a Q8 gas station: choose the amount to be paid directly on the App and enter the 6-digit code that the App has generated on the payment kiosk. Then choose the pump number and start refueling your car.
  • if you are at an API IP - Tamoil - Esso or Retitalia gas station: choose the amount to be paid and, once you have selected and unlocked the pump directly from your App, you can start refueling your car.

You will always find the refueling operations you have completed in the Transactions Archive of your App.

Using the Telepass Pay or Telepass Pay X App geolocation function, you can see if there are service stations near your location. The App will tell you whether at a specific station payment through the Telepass device, Telepass Pay App or both is available. You can always view the complete list here

If you select an amount on the App that is higher than the refueling capacity, as soon as the tank signals it's filled up, the transaction will end when you place the pump nozzle back to its place. You will only be charged for the actual amount refueled.

  • Select the Street Parking service on the Telepass Pay or Telepass Pay X App.

  • Geolocate your position or as an alternative, select the area (using the area code from the road signs) or enter the address manually.

  • Select or enter the parked number plate.

  • Set the duration of your stop.

  • 10 minutes before your parking expires, an alert will allow you to either extend or end the parking by paying only for the actual time used.

  • The amount of the parking will be charged directly to the payment account.

Parking assistants are equipped with a handheld device on which they digit the parked number plate and verify the payment in real time. In some municipalities (indicated by an alert on the App), you are required to display the Telepass Pay coupon on the windshield.

The cost and times of parking are defined by each municipality and the related information is shown on the road signs in the street parking area.

The Telepass Pay and Telepass Pay X App allows you to always preview the cost before you initiate parking. On the other hand, in the Reserved Area of the site you can review all your activity.

Since the Telepass Pay and Telepass Pay X App contains all the time and cost information shown on the road signs, even if you started parking at 07:30, the cost will be calculated only from actual time of validity, thus in the specific case from 08:00.

You can choose among the following wash types:

  • Vehicle external wash, which includes cleaning of external bodywork, windows, and rims, as well as tire polishing;
  • Vehicle interior wash, which includes vacuuming the interiors and the trunk, cleaning of mats, seats, dashboard, plastics, interior windows, and door stops;
  • Sanitation service for all passenger compartment surfaces and cleansing of your car's air conditioning system.

You do not need to be present during the wash, but should you choose the interior wash or passenger compartment sanitation service we will contact you to open the vehicle.

If you are a Telepass client, you can conveniently pay for parking in one of the participating garages right with the Telepass device. Entering or exiting the participating garages of airports, stations, and fairs, look for the column with the Telepass logo, the gate will automatically lift and you will be able to leave without stopping at the cash desk.

Il prodotto Infortuni in mobilità consiste in un servizio assicurativo a tutela dei danni da infortunio che Telepass, in collaborazione con le compagnie assicurative partner, mette a disposizione dei propri clienti.

The Accidents in Mobility policy offers you financial aid to face the economic consequences of an accident, pay the expenses, and compensate for loss of earnings. The coverage protects you when you are away from home for business or personal reasons. Additionally, if you have an accident while using a Telepass service, the protection doubles! The insurance coverage offered for accidents includes an hospitalization allowance, a post-hospitalization recovery allowance, a cast allowance, the reimbursement of medical expenses, and an allowance for total temporary disability. In addition, the Accidents in Mobility policy covers also for any COVID-19 infections contracted during work.

The amount of compensation provided for by the Accidents in Mobility policy doubles if the injury happens while using the services paid with Telepass and for all mobility services paid with the Telepass Pay APP (taxi-Bike sharing- Scooter- Local Public Transportation- Ferries- Trains- Scooter Sharing).

You can purchase the Accidents in Mobility policy directly on the Telepass or Telepass Pay X App. Once you have purchased the policy, you will receive the Membership Certificate and the contractual documents that will also be available on the website or on the App. The cost of the policy will be debited directly to your bank account associated with the Telepass contract.

Sull’apparato Telepass collegato al relativo contratto Telepass Family, il cliente può attivare un solo contratto individuale o Famiglia, su Telepass Business (Telepass con Viacard) fino a 10 contratti individuali.

Sì, il costo delle polizze assicurative concorre ad erodere il limite di spesa trimestrale del contratto Telepass Family di 258,23€.

L’intestatario del contratto Telepass Family può decidere di assicurare non solo sé stesso, ma anche i componenti del nucleo famigliare, mentre l’intestatario del contratto Telepass Business può assicurare sé stesso ed i collaboratori dell’azienda. Possono essere assicurate le persone residenti in Italia con un’età compresa tra i 18 e i 70 anni non compiuti. La copertura è valida fino al compimento del 75° anno d’età.

Le garanzie sono valide senza limiti territoriali, ad eccezione delle garanzie Diaria da Ricovero da infortunio verificatosi in Italia e Diaria da Convalescenza post Ricovero da infortunio verificatosi in Italia che sono valide a condizione che l’Infortunio si sia verificato in Italia.

Le somme assicurate per ciascuna garanzia vengono divise in parti uguali fra i componenti del Nucleo familiare presenti nello stato di famiglia al momento del Sinistro, con il minimo del 33% per ciascuna persona assicurata. Se in una famiglia ci sono più di tre componenti, l’indennizzo è comunque pari al 33% per ciascuno.

I costi relativi al prodotto assicurativo Infortuni in Mobilità saranno addebitati contestualmente al primo addebito utile dovuto per i servizi Telepass, successivo alla data di sottoscrizione del prodotto assicurativo sul medesimo conto corrente indicato per l’addebito del canone Telepass. Il premio è pagato mensilmente fino a disdetta della copertura.

È possibile recedere in qualsiasi momento nei primi 14 giorni successivi alla sottoscrizione, senza penali e senza dover indicare il motivo.

Qualora la documentazione predisposta per la Clientela da parte delle Compagnie Assicurative con riferimento al recesso da ciascun Servizio Assicurativo contenga previsioni differenti, tali ultime previsioni prevarranno nel rapporto con le singole Compagnie Assicurative.
