Everything you need to know

The Telepass Base , i.e. Telepass Family contract, is the basic Telepass plan included in all the packages offered online. To activate the Telepass plan, simply register on the site and have a bank account even with a foreign IBAN from one of the 28 member states of the European Union, as well as Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the Principality of Monaco, the State of San Marino, the Principality of Andorra and Vatican State. Is the activation of the Telepass device immediate?

The Telepass device is immediately active and it can be used regularly.

How can I pay with the Telepass device

With the Telepass device you can easily pay for:

toll for all Italian highways;
participating parkings. Discover more;

Also, wth the Telepass App you can request an estimate and pay the RC-Car Insurance and your mobility insurances. Discover more.

When signing up online I am not able to insert the number plate, the system says "number plate in use". What does it mean?

If you see this message and you can't proceed, it's possible that your number plate is being used on another device.

To finalize your signing up online we invite you to insert the number plate of a different vehicle, if you have one, or to fill in the form under the Support section and attach your vehicle registration document.

Qual è la differenza tra offerta Telepass Base e Telepass Plus?

L’offerta Telepass Base ha un canone di 1,83 € al mese IVA inclusa fino al 30 giugno 2024, poi 3,90 € al mese IVA inclusa dall'1 luglio 2024. Telepass Base include il dispositivo Telepass Slim che puoi usare per pagare i pedaggi in modo rapido, parcheggiare nelle strutture convenzionate, imbarcarti sui traghetti per lo Stretto di Messina e pagare l'Area C di Milano. Inoltre, puoi acquistare le vignette elettroniche per viaggiare nelle autostrade di Svizzera, Austria, Slovenia e Repubblica Ceca, con una commissione aggiuntiva.

L’offerta Telepass Plus ha un canone mensile complessivo di 3 € IVA inclusa (canone Telepass Base incluso) fino al 31 giugno 2024, poi 4,90 €IVA inclusa al mese (canone Base Family incluso) dall’1 luglio 2024. Plus può essere attivato direttamente in app e ti viene spedito il dispositivo Telepass Slim gratuitamente a casa. L’offerta Plus include tutte le opzioni dell’offerta Base e in più accedi a tutti i servizi di pagamento per la mobilità tramite l’app Telepass: fai carburante, parcheggi sulle strisce blu, paghi la revisione, lavi l’auto a domicilio, acquisti i biglietti per i mezzi pubblici e noleggi bici e monopattini in app. Tramite app usi i servizi, gestisci i tuoi spostamenti e controlli le tue spese quando vuoi in pochi tap.

How many devices can be linked to my Telepass Family contract?

È possibile associare un solo dispositivo Telepass al costo di 1,83 € IVA inclusa al mese fino al 30 giugno, poi 3,90 € IVA inclusa al mese dall’1 luglio. In alternativa, puoi aderire all'offerta Telepass Twin per ottenere un secondo dispositivo sullo stesso contratto con l'Assistenza Stradale solo Italia inclusa ad un costo di 2.88€ al mese. Il costo del pacchetto include:

canone mensile del dispositivo 0,88€ (invece di 1,83 € fino al 30 giugno, poi 3,90 €)
canone mensile dell'opzione Assistenza Stradale solo in Italia: 2,00 €

I have a foreign bank account: can I activate Telepass services?

You can take advantage of the services offered by Telepass Pay by joining the Telepass Pay X offer through the Telepass Pay X App.

How to end the Telepass Base contract

You can end your contract at any time and with no penalties or closing costs by simply returning the device at the nearest 'Punto Blu' or mailing it with registered mail to the following address: Telepass S.p.A. - Via del Serafico 49 - 00142 Roma.

How can I verify if my foreign bank account falls within the SEPA area?

Please note that the SEPA area includes the 28 member states of the European Union with the addition of Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the Principality of Monaco, the Republic of San Marino, the Principality of Andorra, and the Vatican City State.

Is the Telepass Base domiciliation possible on a rechargeable card?

If you own a rechargeable card, before you proceed to activate Family Online, we suggest you to ask more information to the card issuer.

Do I always need a bank account to activate Telepass Base (Family Online)?

Telepass Base always require a bank account support. The Telepass contract holder has to be the same as the holder or co-holder of the IBAN provided in order for the bank domiciliation request to be successful.
