Telepass Grab&Go is the new Telepass offer designed for people who use mobility services sporadically. You have no monthly fee: you buy the device and pay a daily rate only on the days you use it. With Grab(Go you access Telepass' essential services: Toll, Affordable Parking, Milan Area C, Ferry to the Strait of Messina, Strisce Blu and Electronic Vignettes. The ideal solution for free, worry-free, subscription-free travel.
You can use all of these services in Italy:
NFC (Near Field Communication) is a communication system that allows information to be exchanged between two devices by simply bringing them together. In order to activate in Telepass app, following the provided instructions, the Telepass Grab&Go device you own that is equipped with NFC technology, you must have one of the following mobile devices: (i) iPhone 7 (or later) or device with iOS version 11.0 or later, or,(ii) smartphone with NFC technology and Android operating system version Oreo 8.0 or later. If you do not have one of the above mobile devices, you can activate your device at Telepass service points specifically authorized for this purpose.
The Telepass Grab&Go electronic toll service is intended exclusively for natural persons:
In order to finalize a Telepass Grab&Go contract, Telepass will carry out certain eligibility checks on the applicant, including with reference to the validity of the IBAN code of the current account or the validity of the credit card, also as an anti-fraud function, and creditworthiness checks on the same applicant, reserving the right to authorize or not to finalize the contract based on the results of the checks carried out.
In the event that a customer, owner of a Telepass Grab&Go device, is not authorized to perfect the Telepass Grab&Go contract or otherwise does not receive acceptance from Telepass, he/she may contact Customer Support, in order to obtain a refund, at 0697166669 (cost of the call calculated according to his/her tariff plan) active from Monday to Friday during the hours of 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Only one Telepass Grab&Go device can be associated with the Telepass Grab&Go contract at a time. In addition, a single Telepass Grab&Go device, owned by the Customer, can only be associated with one Telepass Grab&Go contract. Therefore, in the event of subsequent termination for any reason (including the Customer's withdrawal from the service contract, by reconsideration within the terms of the law, or subsequently during the course of the relationship) of the effectiveness of the Telepass Grab&Go service contract previously associated with a Telepass Grab&Go device owned by the Customer, such device may not be associated with a further Telepass Grab&Go Contract. In cases where the device, previously associated with the Telepass Grab&Go contract, is no longer owned and in the material availability of the Customer, or, is no longer functional and suitable to enable the use of the relevant services, the Customer may associate a new Telepass Grab&Go device to the same contract, of which he/she is the owner and of which he/she has the material availability.
Without prejudice to the legal warranty provided, free of charge, by the seller of the Telepass Grab&Go device for cases of lack of conformity pursuant to art. 128 et seq. of Legislative Decree September 6, 2005, no. 206 (“Consumer Code”) in favor of the consumer customer, Telepass shall provide for the repair and/or replacement of the Telepass Grab&Go device owned by the customer, in the cases, under the terms, with the modalities and under the conditions provided in the warranty document made available together with the device (and also available for consultation HERE) and with charges exclusively borne by Telepass itself (the “Commercial Warranty”). It should be noted that this Commercial Warranty is a conventional warranty provided by Telepass, which is in addition to, but does not replace, the legal warranty of conformity of consumer goods provided for by Articles 128 et seq. of Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 and, in any case, does not affect, nor limit or exclude the rights of the consumer Customer, as provided for by the aforementioned legal provisions. In the event of malfunction, failure or lack of conformity of the Telepass Grab&Go device (including battery) during the period in which Telepass provides the Commercial Warranty, the Customer who wishes to take advantage of it must, within the terms and in the manner provided in the aforementioned warranty document, request its activation. Telepass also reserves the right to fulfill the provisions of the Commercial Warranty through a specially authorized third party.
