Everything you need to know

Request a quote in the section of the site dedicated to car insurance, the insurance agency part of Great Lakes Insurance SE. In this section you will learn: Who can purchase a Telepass Assicura policy; how to replace a vehicle; how to pay, cancel or suspend a liability insurance; how to report an accident or an incident; the timeframe for the issuance of a policy; what is a risk certificate (ATR); what is the meaning of free and expert driving.

You can cancel the policy within 14 days from the date of purchase without stating a reason.

After 14 days, however, the insurance coverage will cease according to the contract conditions included in the policy.

In any event, you will need to pay a sum corresponding to the total fees indicated in the insurance contract (in addition to the contribution to the National Health Service in case of Auto Insurance warranty) and a premium rate corresponding to the period of time you benefited from the policy.

We will contact you within a few hours to guide you through the next steps.

In all other cases, we will help you to file the claim with the company whose insured vehicle caused the damage.

All Telepass Family and Business customers with a vehicle registered under a physical person can take advantage of the Auto Insurance service.

Through the Telepass App or the Reserved Area of the site, you can purchase an Auto Insurance policy and accessory warranties for the number plates linked to your Telepass contract.

Please note that the purchased policy will be issued under the name of the vehicle owner.

Once you have purchased the insurance policy, you will need to send us the signed agreement. You can digitally sign it by clicking on the link provided at the end of the purchase process on the website and on the App, as well as in the confirmation email.

You can modify your policy requesting replacement with another vehicle directly from the Telepass App, in the section titled "Manage Policy - I changed vehicle," or by completing the form on the website, entering all the required data.

Remember that you can transfer your policy to another vehicle as long as it is in the same category as the insured vehicle and the owner remains unchanged.

You can suspend your policy directly from your Telepass App, in the Reserved Area of the site, or by calling Customer Service.

Remember that you can suspend your policy up to two times during the year, and that the minimum duration is 30 days and the maximum is 12 months. Additionally, you may not suspend the policy less than 30 days before the contract expires.

The suspension request has no additional cost and will take effect starting at midnight on the day indicated.

The charge for the purchase of your policy will be applied after contract signing at the first due payment for Telepass services and on the same bank account linked to your Telepass contract.

In the event of an accident, follow our claims guide to find out what you should do. We also recommend that you visit the accident claims section on the site www.Telepassassicura.com or on the Telepass App to find:

  • The roadside assistance service phone number, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • The email address of our Claims Service.
  • The addresses of affiliated body shops and support centers closest to your home.

To take advantage of the advance discount, you must complete the purchase within 10 days of the policy expiration date.

Any discount you are entitled to are included in the quote calculation. The policy quote you received via email already includes the discounts you have accrued.

According to the driving category you selected, your car can be driven by:

  • any driver at least 26 years of age (Expert Driving).
  • Anyone in possession of a driving license (Free Driving).

You can change the driving category at any time.

The auto insurance with monthly payments is an innovative and customer-friendly coverage, which allows you to split the annual premium into 12 monthly installments. The policy is issued immediately and there is no form of financing and no additional installment fees.

All your policy documents are located in your Reserved Area, in the Documents section. You can view and download the Policy Agreement, the Green Card, the Risk Certificate (ATR), and the information set. Alternatively, you can download the Telepass App and view all policy documentation directly on your smartphone.

The Risk Certificate (ATR) is a document that summarizes the insurance history of the vehicle and its owner. It includes important information such as the details of the policy you have purchased, the merit rating of the vehicle, and the accidents in which the vehicle has been involved in the past 10 years. If you already have a Telepass Assicura policy, you can find your Risk Certificate in the Reserved Area.

In some cases, other documents may be needed to verify your details and confirm the quote. When you receive our request, you can send the information via email, entering the quote number in the subject.

The policy is issued immediately. In cases requiring an additional check of the documents, the policy is issued only after the sent documents are verified for accuracy.

You can find all your policies on your Telepass App or in the Reserved Area of the site. In the latter case, log in by entering your Telepass credentials and go to the "Policies" section to view and manage all the policies you have purchased.

Each quote is valid for 60 days from the time of calculation, as required by law. The quote is available in your Reserved Area, where you can access it to complete the purchase of your policy. If you do not complete your purchase within this period, you will need to run a new quote calculation for your vehicle.

You can find the Accident Statement Form directly on your Telepass App in the “Your documents” section, where you can also find all contract documents.

You can also find the same documents in the Reserved Area of the site.

When you calculate a quote with Telepass Assicura, you will be asked to indicate whether the youngest driver is older or younger than 26 years of age. If the driver is under 26 years of age, they will fall into the "Free Driving" category, which allows greater freedom of use as the vehicle can be driven by anyone regardless of their age.

On the other hand, if the youngest driver is over 26 years old, then he will fall into the "Expert Driving" category, in which case the policy is effective only when the car is driven by a person aged 26 or older.

Please remember that if you have chosen the Expert Driving option, in the event of an accident caused by a driver under the age of 26, the Company may exercise the right of recourse.

You can do it directly from the Telepass App or from the Reserved Area of the site.

Select the license plate for which you want to calculate the quote, enter the age of the youngest driver and confirm the date of birth of the vehicle owner. In addition to the Liability Insurance, you can always add other accessory warranties.

Once calculated, the quote will be sent to you by email, and you can always find it on your App or in the Reserved Area of the site in the "Quote Archive" section.
