Telepass is officially the presenting sponsor of Cortina 2021 Alpine World Ski Championships. The partnership was announced today, Thursday 19 November, by Valerio Giacobbi, CEO of Fondazione Cortina 2021, and Gabriele Benedetto, CEO of Telepass, during a digital press conference.
This partnership stems from shared values and planning for the growth of the territory and the country, and its long wave will extend even beyond this great sporting event, scheduled from 7 to 21 February 2021.
Telepass will be a technological innovation partner for the resort and will make it easier and more efficient to enjoy the slopes following the guidelines for smart and sustainable mobility. Indeed, among the new features announced is the startup, as of February 2021, of the Telepass Skipass service also in the Cortina d'Ampezzo ski area.
It will be possible to purchase limited-edition Championships ski cards on the Telepass App, receive them directly at home and, after registering them, ski in Cortina with no queues at the ticket office, paying the best rate charged by the ski area for the actual time spent on the slopes. The service is already active in 20 other ski areas, for a total of over 1,500 km of slopes and aims to simplify skiing and make it an integrated and smart platform, safe and clean.
Concurrently with the announcement of its partnership with Cortina 2021, Telepass introduced a new logo, which from 2021 will be featured on its website, below-the-line material, social networks, and all company press releases. The aim of this new brand identity is to mirror the evolution of Telepass as the first enabler of integrated, safe, and sustainable mobility.
