Telepass announces that it has been certified in Poland to enter the EETS - European Electronic Tolling Service system. The Telepass SAT interoperable device (which works via satellite) is the first to be certified in this country for the EETS system and is now available in a total of 14 European countries.
The obtained certification enables the full EETS service to be offered in Poland, starting October 17, as in the 13 European countries already covered by the interoperable electronic toll service dedicated to heavy vehicles (over 3.5 tonnes) - Italy, France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Switzerland, Bulgaria - and Telepass Sales Partners can already sell the device.
