Telepass is now in Hungary, thus bringing to 12 the number of European countries covered by its electronic toll service for heavy vehicles.
Already active in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Poland (Krakow-Katowice section of the A4 motorway), Austria, Germany and Scandinavian countries, the interoperable device Telepass SAT can be used to pay the toll for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons on over 6,500 km of Hungarian toll-motorways.
This new step allows Telepass to continue its international growth, after landing in Germany and Scandinavian countries in 2019, and to manage now a total of 101,000 km, contributing to simplify mobility within the European road network.
Given the recent growth, the company aims at serving the entire EU area within the next few years.
