With the Car Stamp service, you can pay the vehicle tax for cars registered on the Telepass device directly from the Telepass Pay or Telepass Pay X App. Here you can find all the information to know when the stamp expires and to retrieve the payment receipt on the App.

Which App do I use to pay the stamp?

You can pay the stamp with the Telepass App and Telepass Pay X App.

When will I be charged for the stamp?

The stamp service follows the billing cycle of your Telepass Pay or Telepass Pay X contract.

I paid the stamp with Telepass: where can I find the receipt?

You can download the stamp payment receipt in PDF format directly from the App by accessing the transactions archive, otherwise you can find it in your Reserved Area.

I received notification that a stamp is expiring, but I changed my car/motorcycle, what should I do?

Ignore the stamp payment notification and update your number plates using your Telepass App or in your Reserved Area.

How many stamps can I pay during the year?

For each Telepass Easy, Telepass Plus or Telepass Pay X contract, you can pay up to 2 stamps per month and up to 4 stamps per year.

Can I pay the stamp for a number plate not associated with Telepass?

You can pay the stamp only for the plates associated with your Telepass device. After you have registered a new number plate and joined the Telepass Memo service, we will let you know when you can pay the stamp.

How does the Car Stamp service work with Telepass?

Access the App and click on "Pay the stamp";
check the stamp expiration for the number plates associated with your contract;
select the number plate and the type of vehicle for which you want to pay the stamp;
check the amount and pay your stamp directly in the App;
you can download the payment receipt from the transaction archive of your App or from the Reserved Area on the website.

How can I find out about the expiration date of the stamp?

You can find out about the expiration date of the stamp in three ways:

from the Memo function in App;
from notifications in the App;
when the "pay stamp" button shows on the main screen of your App.

In which regions is the Telepass stamp service active?

The Telepass Pay stamp service is operational in all Italian Regions and Autonomous Provinces.

When can I pay the car stamp with Telepass?

You can pay the car stamp via App within one month from the day it expired.

For example, if your stamp expires in September 2021, you can pay from 1 to 31 October 2021.

You may also pay the stamp even if it has expired for over one month, with an increased amount according to law.
