Parking on blue lines in Reggio Calabria

Want to park in the Municipality of Reggio Calabria? Discover how blue zones work, how much they cost, and how to pay for parking.

Blue lines at Reggio Calabria indicate the paid parking areas in the city center, organized in three zones (A, B and C) and in the Lungomare Falcomatà area. The spaces are marked by blue lines and divided into zones with differentiated hours and durations.

Paid parking is managed by ATAM under concession from the Municipal Administration, as part of the Parking Plan of the Municipality of Reggio Calabria (Municipal Council Resolution no. 220/2011). Rates, hours and conditions may vary depending on the area: for this reason, the vertical signage next to the parking space is always the reference.

Want to park easily and without fees?

With the Telepass app, you pay for parking meters with no additional costs.

How to pay for blue lines in Reggio Calabria

In Reggio Calabria, it is possible to pay for parking using traditional or digital methods.

Parking meters

The traditional method is payment through a parking meter, available in regulated parking areas. With the parking meter you can:

  • Pay for parking, even in installments.
  • Use cash or debit card or PostePay, for which parking meters are already equipped.
  • Obtain the ticket to display on your vehicle's dashboard.

Scratch and park coupon

As an alternative to the parking meter, ATAM provides the ordinary "scratch and park" ticket: it costs €1.00 and allows you to park in all areas for 60 minutes.

Telepass App

In enabled areas, you can also pay for parking through the Telepass app.

With the app you can:

  • Start and stop parking directly from your smartphone.
  • Avoid using the parking meter.
  • Pay automatically when parking ends.
  • Pay only for the actual parking time.
  • Manage parking digitally, without having to use paper tickets or coins.

Before using the service, it is always advisable to verify that the parking area is enabled for payment via app.
