How to pay for blue parking zones in the Municipality of Lecce

The term blue parking zones refers to paid parking areas regulated by an hourly rate and prices that may vary depending on the different zones of Lecce and the days. These parking spaces are easy to recognize because they are marked with blue stripes. Payment is managed by SGM (Società Gestione Multipla) and regulated by the Municipality of Lecce.

Payment methods for blue parking lines in Lecce

You can pay for blue parking lines in Lecce in various ways:

  • using parking meters (you can pay with coins or card);
  • purchasing scratch-and-park cards (from authorized retailers);
  • purchasing rechargeable electronic cards worth €25.00 (from authorized retailers);
  • using the Telepass App.

How much blue line parking costs in Lecce

Please note that the cost may vary depending on the zone, day, and time when you park, so always check the vertical signage closest to your blue line parking spot.

In Lecce, blue lines are part of zones, each distinguished by a different color:

  • Red zone (historic center): €1.50 per hour (minimum parking €0.50);
  • Orange zone: €1.30 per hour (minimum parking €0.50);
  • Blue zone: €1.10 per hour (minimum parking €0.50);
  • Green zone: €0.60 per hour (minimum parking €0.30);
  • Light blue zone: €0.60 per hour (minimum parking €0.30);
  • Yellow zone: €0.60 per hour (minimum parking €0.30); €1.50 per day;
  • Purple zone (interchange parking at Foro Boario, Torre del Parco and Largo Cimitero): parking only €0.60 per hour (minimum parking €0.30); interchange (parking and transport): €2.00 per day, €15.00 per month.

In the blue, green, light blue, and yellow zones, monthly subscription parking is available in three types:

  • €80.00 per month (blue, green, light blue, yellow, purple zones);
  • €40.00 (green, light blue, yellow, purple zones);
  • €20.00 (green, light blue, yellow zones only from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM);

    Blue line parking hours in Lecce

    Paid parking on blue lines in Lecce is in effect at different times depending on the zone:

    • Red zone (historic center): Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM and 4:00 PM-9:00 PM;
    • Orange zone: Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM and 4:00 PM-9:00 PM;
    • Blue zone: Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM and 4:00 PM-9:00 PM;
    • Green zone: Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM and 4:00 PM-9:00 PM;
    • Light blue zone: Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM;
    • Yellow zone: Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM and 4:00 PM-9:00 PM;
    • Purple zone (interchange parking at Foro Boario, Torre del Parco and Largo Cimitero): Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM and 4:00 PM-9:00 PM (parking only); 7:00 AM-9:00 PM (parking and interchange).
    • Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.



      Who gets free blue line parking in Lecce

      In Lecce, blue line parking is free or discounted if you fall into these categories:

      • residents (with free and discounted permits available online or at the City Terminal in Viale Porta d'Europa);
      • disabled people (with appropriate badge).

      Remember to always display your permit or badge clearly on the inside of your windshield.



      Free blue line parking for electric and hybrid cars

      In Lecce, there are currently no exemptions or discounts for blue line parking for owners of electric or hybrid cars.
