These parking spaces are easy to recognize because they are marked with blue stripes and payment is managed by AMTS (Metropolitan Transport and Parking Company) and regulated by the Municipality of Catania.

Paid parking in blue stripes in Catania is in effect from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, unless otherwise indicated on the signage. The Movida Park in the historic center operates from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
On Sundays and public holidays, parking is free.
In special circumstances or for reasons of public utility and safety (for example, major events, road works, emergencies), blue stripe parking may be temporarily suspended.
