Blue lines in Caserta are distributed mainly in central areas and zones with higher traffic, where parking demand is higher due to the presence of shops, offices, services, and urban points of interest. The Municipality distinguishes two tariff zones, Zone A and Zone B.
In general, Zone A corresponds to the most central areas and those with higher parking turnover, while Zone B covers less central areas, with reduced rates and different hourly regulations, including free parking from 14:00–16:00.
Zone | Main streets / areas | Indicative urban area | Characteristics |
|---|---|---|---|
Zone A | Piazza Vanvitelli, Piazza Dante, Via Mazzini, Via San Carlo, Via Colombo, Corso Trieste | City center and central axis | High turnover, greater parking demand pressure |
Zone B | Areas outside the most central core, connected with urban districts covered by the parking plan | More peripheral or less congested areas | Greater parking availability and lower rates |
Paid parking spaces are also delimited and uniquely numbered: at the time of payment, the user must indicate the number of the occupied space, as specified by the Municipality in the parking plan procedure.
The presence of blue lines may vary even within the same zone: the vertical signage present on the space always prevails.
