In Bari, several official payment methods are available for parking in the ZSR – Regulated Parking Zones. All apply the same rates, but differ in convenience and usage methods. Motorists can choose between parking meters, prepaid cards, digital apps, and the Telepass service, depending on their needs.

AMTAB Parking Meters

  • ZSR Residents: residents of a ZSR zone can park for free within their own designated area using the annual permit (cost: €30). The permit must be requested at the AMTAB Parking Office and renewed according to municipal procedures.
  • Temporary Residents: individuals who permanently live in a ZSR zone can also obtain the same annual permit for €30, upon submitting a declaration certifying their place of residence.
  • People with disabilities (CUDE): vehicles serving people with disabilities who have a CUDE permit (European Unified Disability Badge) can park for free in any ZSR without time limits.

The permit (for residents, temporary residents, or CUDE) must always be displayed on the windshield to allow for verification.

  • Parking is always paid for everyone, without exceptions.
