You can pay for blue parking lines in Ancona in two ways:

  • using parking meters (with coins or card);
  • using the Telepass app.

If you use the parking meter to purchase parking in blue lines, it's essential to clearly display the ticket inside your car. The same applies to vouchers. If you use the Telepass app, download the parking tag to display on your dashboard.



How much blue line parking costs in Ancona

In Ancona, blue line parking areas are divided into three types:

Mixed zones (free for residents and authorized users, paid for everyone else):

  • Centro, Adriatico, Piazza Rosselli, Via Flaminia, Via Marconi between Piazza Rosselli and Via Dalmazia: €1.20 per hour;
  • Archi, Tiziano: €0.90 per hour;
  • Corso Carlo Alberto: €0.60 per hour.

Paid zones for everyone:

  • Largo Cappelli, Via Corridoni (from Via Monfalcone to Via Panoramica), Piazza IV Novembre, Piazza Rosselli (station side): variable rates from €0.60 to €1.20 per hour based on what is indicated on the vertical signage.

Quick parking zones (paid for everyone, only at on-site parking meters):

  • Piazza Stamira, Piazza della Repubblica: €0.50 first hour (not divisible); €2.50 subsequent hours (not divisible).


Blue line parking hours in Ancona

Blue line parking in Ancona is in effect Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Annual parking permits:

  • residents, costing €33.00 for the first, €55.00 for the second, and €176.00 for the third and subsequent permits;
  • domiciled persons and students, costing €66.00;
  • commercial activities, with variable costs depending on the type;
  • vehicles registered to entities and institutions, costing €220.00.

Temporary parking permits:

  • replacement vehicle;
  • family visits;
  • home construction work;
  • construction company site.

The issuance of each permit requires payment of a €16.00 revenue stamp.



Free blue line parking for electric and hybrid cars

In the Municipality of Ancona, you can park for free in blue lines only if you own a full-electric car. The permit is issued free of charge, except for the €16.00 revenue stamp.
