Milan Linate Airport offers travelers a large number of parking spaces for convenient parking, depending on their needs.

Named after Italian aviation pioneer Enrico Forlanini, this airport is mainly dedicated to domestic and short-haul European air traffic. In 2023 it ranked eighth in Italy by number of passengers.

It is located within the city’s urban area and is directly connected to the center by line 4 of the metro (Linate Aeroporto station). Together with Milan Malpensa and Bergamo Orio al Serio, it forms the Milan airport system.

You can leave your car at Linate either in the official car parks within the airport area or outside in various private facilities. In this guide we show you which options there are and how much they cost.

Official parking areas at Milan Linate Airport

The official parking areas at Milan Linate Airport are managed by Milan Airports Parking and offer a total of 4,600 spaces, divided into five areas located around the airport’s single terminal.

You can book them online through the company’s website or pay on site, with the option to use the Telepass device for a faster process: simply enter and exit through the dedicated lanes, just like on the highway. This way, you avoid having to collect and keep the ticket and skip the queues at the automatic pay stations. You also benefit from reserved spaces, and the payment is charged directly to your account, which you can monitor via the app.

If you arrive at Linate by car, you can choose between short-term and long-term parking depending on your needs.



Where to park at Linate: short-term parking

There are two short-term parking areas at Milan Linate, both located along the Arrivals terminal road.

You can pay at the automatic pay stations or at staffed payment points.

At the Departures terminal, there are an additional 100 parking spaces available for a maximum stay of one hour, payable via parking meter.



Where to park at Linate: long-term parking

There are five long-term parking areas at Milan Linate Airport:

  • P1 XL – 1,300 spaces, 170 uncovered, 75 Top Class for luxury cars
  • P2 Executive – 1,400 covered spaces, direct tunnel to check-in area
  • P2 Rider – 130 covered spaces, reserved for motorbikes and scooters
  • P3 Smart – 350 uncovered spaces, online booking only, 2 minutes’ walk from the terminal
  • P4 New – 1,500 uncovered spaces, 10 minutes’ walk from the terminal, free shuttle on request from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Telepass service is available at P1 Top Class XL, P2 Executive, and P4 New car parks.





Parking for people with disabilities

At Milan Linate Airport, the recommended parking areas for people with disabilities or reduced mobility are P1 Top Class on the second floor (ideal for accessing the free Sala Amica assistance service) and P2 Executive on the ground floor (sector K).

To obtain free parking, go to the help desk with your parking ticket, the original disability permit, a valid ID, and your travel document.



External parking near Milan Linate

As an alternative to the official Milan Linate Airport car parks, you can leave your car in private facilities outside the airport area, which offer various options. The main ones are:

  • Linate Parking (Viale Forlanini): 1,500 car and motorcycle spaces, free shuttle from 4:30 AM to 1:00 AM; rates from €14 per day;
  • ParkinGo Milan Linate (Via Francesco Baracca, Segrate): multi-storey with covered and uncovered spaces, rates from €5.30 per day;
  • Stop & Fly (Via Francesco Baracca, Segrate): covered and uncovered spaces, free continuous shuttle, rates from €12 per day.
