Device with Viacard

You can report your Telepass device as stolen or lost by:

• the app by tapping “Menu” (5th icon at the bottom right) > “Telepass Devices”> “View Details” > “Lock Device”
• the website’s Member Area by clicking on “Reports”
• Telepass Customer Service by calling 069 71 666 71 (call charges apply according to your rate plan)
• Telepass Store and Telepass Service Center.
  

You must confirm the permanent deactivation of your Telepass device within 30 days of reporting it lost by filing a report with law enforcement authorities, in which you must also provide the license plate number associated with the device. Only in the event of loss may you submit a sworn statement as an alternative to the police report.

If you do not confirm the deactivation, your Telepass device will become active again, and we will charge you for all transactions made after the deactivation.

In addition, once you submit the documentation for permanent deactivation, you can request a replacement device directly through the app.

If you have not activated the insurance plan for €0.69 + VAT per month, you will have to pay a €30 fee for replacement due to theft or loss. To check whether you have activated the insurance: go to the “Telepass” > “Contract” section in the Member Area of the website and look for the relevant information on the page.

The Viacard Device is the solution designed for customers who already have a Viacard contract, who frequently use the highway in both private and commercial vehicles, and who want to enjoy the convenience of all Telepass services. There are no usage limits, and tolls are charged directly to the customer’s bank account. You can link a Telepass device to each Viacard you own.

You can apply online through the Members’ Area on the Telepass website or at a Telepass Store by presenting the following documents:

• Viacard;
• valid identification document;
• a copy of the contract stamped and signed by the company, along with a copy of the updated Chamber of Commerce registration if the contract is in the name of a company;
• a power of attorney from the company if you are not the legal representative, along with a copy of the authorizing party’s identification document;
• the license plate numbers of the vehicles to be authorized.

You will need to take your Telepass device to a Telepass Store or Telepass Service Center located along the highway network so that it can be inspected and replaced free of charge. Alternatively, you can request a replacement directly from your provider.

There is no actual link between the Telepass device and the Viacard. Please note, however, that Telepass devices can only be issued in a number equal to the number of Viacards you already own.
