Motorway Collision

You’ll find all the information required to cancel your policy in the cancellation policy on the Telepass App in “Collisione in Autostrada” > “i” on the top right side> “Contatti e Gestione Polizza”.

Please note that you can cancel your policy within 14 days from date of purchase, only if a claim has not been filed for “Motorway Collision”.

You can cancel your policy any time up to 5 days before the policy expiry date. Please note that when you first get the policy you are covered for 3 months. You cannot cancel the policy before this period. If you cancel your policy before 3 months, your policy will be active for the rest of the 3-month period, following which it will not be renewed automatically, and will be cancelled.

For policy assistance, you’ll need your “membership number” and “device number” present in the “Member details” section of the membership/renewal form.

You’ll receive the membership/renewal form every time you subscribe to or renew a policy. You can also view the form in the Telepass App in the “Assicurazioni” section > “Collisione in Autostrada” > “Le tue Polizze – Vedi dettagli” > “Documenti”.

The insurance cover is active on the number plates linked to the insured device. If you change cars (and therefore number plates), you must change the linked number plate in the “garage” section in the Telepass App. The insurance cover will be automatically transferred to the new number plate.

Note: for the cover to be valid, the number plate must be linked to the device before entering the motorway with Telepass. If not, the vehicle is not considered insured and the cover will be valid from the subsequent entry.

For example: if you buy the policy on 001 device to which X and Y number plates are linked, the policy covers vehicles X and Y. If you then substitute vehicle Y (linked to device 001) with K, Y will no longer be covered. The cover is transferred to vehicle K and will be valid from the first motorway entry with the device.
