With Telepass Business, you can pay for parking in blue-line zones directly from the Telepass app.
To start your parking session:
Ten minutes before the expiration, you will receive a notification allowing you to extend or end the parking session. The amount will be automatically charged to your payment account.
The Strisce Blu service is available with Telepass Business when you purchase the Move package. Once the service is active, you can pay for parking in blue-line zones directly from the Telepass app.
This service is available only in certain cities. The updated list of locations where you can pay for parking with Telepass is available in the section dedicated to the service.
The rates and hours for blue-line parking are set by the Municipality and are indicated on the street signs in the area. Before parking, the Telepass app always displays a preview of the cost of parking.
Since the app contains all the time and cost information shown on the street signs, even if you began parking at 7:30 a.m., the cost will be calculated only starting from the time the rate takes effect—in this specific case, 8:00 a.m.
Parking enforcement officers use a handheld device to verify payment in real time by entering the vehicle license plate. In some municipalities, it is mandatory to display the Telepass sticker on the windshield. Download it here.
To prove payment, it is recommended that you display the Telepass receipt on the windshield of your car in municipalities that require it. If the receipt is not displayed where required, a fine may be imposed. Download it here.
You can manage this service through the settings in your Telepass Business contract. Once deactivated, you will no longer be able to pay for parking in blue-line zones using the Telepass app.
