Available covers

Liability

RCA-Liability is a mandatory coverage for material or physical damage caused to other people in the event of an accident. With Zurich Connect you can choose between the exclusive driving and expert driving formulas, so the coverage only applies to the drivers indicated in the policy (a single person or individuals aged at least 26). Alternatively, if you prefer, you can choose the "free driving" formula under which the RCA-Liability is active regardless of the driver.

Driver's injuries

You can activate this warranty if you would like the driver to receive compensation in the event of an accident (for example, when getting on and off the car or while repairs are being made), since with the Liability warranty alone, any injuries to the driver are not covered.

Theft and fire

You can activate this warranty to receive compensation in the event of a fire, blast, or explosion of the vehicle and in the event of theft (committed or attempted) and robbery. Damages to the vehicle caused during the theft are also compensated. In the event of an accident, by going to our partner body shops, you can reduce the minimums and overdrafts by 50% (the minimum overdraft cannot be less than €150). The warranty cannot be selected if the vehicle value has not been indicated on the Vehicle Data page.

Glass and Windshield

You can activate this warranty to cover the costs of replacing or repairing vehicle windows broken by third parties or due to an accident. If you opt for services offered by Carglass, Doctorglass or Glassdrive, deductibles will not be applied.

Protected Bonus

You can activate this warranty in order for your RCA-Liability warranty premium not to be increased following an accident, even if caused by you, so that the credit quality step assigned to you by the Company remains unchanged. Remember that Protected Bonus is valid if you stay with us and only for the first claim.

Claim protection

You can activate this warranty for legal assistance in the event of a judicial or extrajudicial dispute, thanks to the assistance of DAS professionals. Be mindful that as per recent provisions, the law provides for imprisonment for those who violate the rules of the road and for offenses of vehicular homicide and serious and very serious personal injury. Make sure you have proper assistance in criminal matters by choosing to subscribe to the Claim Protection warranty in addition to the liability policy.

License Revocation

You can activate this warranty to receive a daily allowance for the revocation or temporary suspension of your driving license, even when due to an accident that has resulted in serious or very serious injury or the death of a person.

Blukasko

You can activate this warranty to receive compensation for damage to your car following a collision with another identified vehicle. By choosing our partner body shops, the deductible will be reduced by 50%.

Kasko

You can activate this warranty to receive compensation for damage to the car due to: collision with a vehicle, impact with an obstacle, overturning or driving off the road. The warranty operates even if you are responsible for the accident and even if the car was wrecked.

Vandalism and socio-political events

You can activate this warranty to receive compensation for damage caused by vandalism. By choosing our partner body shops, the overdraft and the minimum will be reduced by 50%.

In case of an accident

How can I report an accident?

You can report an accident directly from the site:

  • enter Username and Password to access your Reserved Area;
  • select the Zurich Connect insured vehicle involved in the accident;
  • remember to attach the CAI Release of Liability Form and we'll take care of the rest.

You can check the status of your case from the Accidents Area.

Can I repay an accident and recover the bonus-malus class?

In the event of an accident for which you are at fault, it would be convenient for you to repay it, thus saving on the cost of the policy and preventing the worsening of the bonus-malus class.

How can we help you?

Using your Telepass or Telepass Pay X App, you can easily calculate the estimate and proceed with the immediate purchase, by simply clicking on "Car Insurance" under the Insurances section.

Once you have purchased your policy, the Certificate and contractual documents will be sent to your email. You will also be able to view the same documents under the "Policies Archive" section on the App.

Access the Telepass App and select the Car Insurance section. If your vehicle (car, motorbike or van, under 35 q) number plate is already linked to your Telepass contract:

  • you will be able to select the number plate that you want to make an estimate for, select the driving style (skilled or free style);
  • check/enter the vehicle's owner date of birth and proceed with the estimate calcualtion.
Besides the Car Insurance, you will be able to add further attached warranties.

The Car Insurance estimate calculation is based on the best possible offer available thanks to the Telepass partnership with the insurance companies.

Once your estimate has been created, it will be sent to the email associated with your Telepass contract and it will be saved on the App under the specific 'estimates archive'.

The Car Insurance service offers to the Telepass Family and Business customers the possibility to purchase, through the Telepass App, Car Insurance policies and attached warranties issued in partnership with insurance companies.

In the specific, after approval of the insurance company, you can add to your policy the following attached warranties:

  • driver injury;
  • theft and fire;
  • legal protecton;
  • glass & windshield protection;
  • car windows;
  • Kasko collision;
  • claim protection;
