Available covers

Liability

The coverage includes all those traveling on the insured vehicle, except the driver if they are responsible for the accident. It is the only warranty required by law. For more information on warranty extensions, exclusions or limitations, please refer to the Information Set.

Driver's Injuries

In the event of a wrongful road accident, the only person not covered by the civil liability insurance is the driver. Quixa will compensate you for the direct and exclusive consequences of the accident. For more information on warranty extensions, exclusions or limitations, please refer to the Information Set.

Roadside assistance

In the event of a breakdown or accident, Quixa offers you a 24-hour assistance service in Italy and Europe. The service entails the sending a tow truck or on site repair, whenever possible. For more information on warranty extensions, exclusions or limitations, please refer to the Information Set.

Uninsured vehicles

quixa also protects you in the event of an accident involving an uninsured vehicle. The warranty covers damage to your car in the event of an accident with an uninsured vehicle provided that:

  • you are not responsible for the accident;
  • the vehicle of the person responsible carries an Italian number plate;
  • no more than two vehicles (including the insured one) are involved in the accident.

Claim protection

By adding the Legal Protection guarantee to your policy, Quixa provides you with a lawyer when necessary to assist you in managing your claim. For more information on warranty extensions, exclusions or limitations, please refer to the Information Set.

Glass and Windshield

By adding the glass guarantee to your policy, in case of a break Quixa provides you with a network of affiliated centers located throughout Italy where you can take your car for repair. For more information on warranty extensions, exclusions or limitations, please refer to the Information Set.

Zero compensation in case of intoxication

By adding the Zero Claim Guarantee in case of intoxication to your car policy, in the event of an accident Quixa waives the claim against you if your blood alcohol content is below the limit of 0.8gr/l. For more information on warranty extensions, exclusions or limitations, please refer to the Information Set.

Theft and fire

The Theft and Fire warranty covers damage caused to your car in the event of:

  • theft (total or attempted);
  • robbery;
  • fire, blast or explosion of the supply system. Also included are traffic damage to the car after theft or robbery and damage caused to your car following an attempt to steal any transported items and the value of the items themselves.

Natural events

The warranty covers damage to your car caused by hail and other natural phenomena caused by pressure due to falling snow or ice from roofs, eaves, balconies and the like, by volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and seismic phenomena in general or caused to the engine and transmission due to driving in flooded areas. Collision

In the event of an accidental collision with another registered vehicle, Quixa will also reimburse the damage to your car. For more information on warranty extensions, exclusions or limitations, please refer to the Information Set.

Kasko

In the event of a bump or collision with another vehicle, driving off the road or overturning, Quixa will also reimburse the damage to your car. For more information on warranty extensions, exclusions or limitations, please refer to the Information Set.

Loss of keys

In case of loss, misplacement or theft of keys, quixa reimburses you for the expenses incurred for replacing the lock (with another of the same type), for unlocking the anti-theft device or for creating a duplicate. In case of an accident

What to do in the event of an accident

What to do in the event of an accident:

  • check that there are no injuries and call an ambulance if necessary;
  • photograph the place of the accident and the damage to the vehicles involved;
  • if possible, clear the way to avoid dangerous situations;
  • fill out the CAI release of liability form with all the requested information. Log into MyQuixa to start the online wizard;
  • within 3 days of the accident, contact our claims service to report the event.

How can we help you?

Using your Telepass or Telepass Pay X App, you can easily calculate the estimate and proceed with the immediate purchase, by simply clicking on "Car Insurance" under the Insurances section.

Once you have purchased your policy, the Certificate and contractual documents will be sent to your email. You will also be able to view the same documents under the "Policies Archive" section on the App.

Access the Telepass App and select the Car Insurance section. If your vehicle (car, motorbike or van, under 35 q) number plate is already linked to your Telepass contract:

  • you will be able to select the number plate that you want to make an estimate for, select the driving style (skilled or free style);
  • check/enter the vehicle's owner date of birth and proceed with the estimate calcualtion.
Besides the Car Insurance, you will be able to add further attached warranties.

The Car Insurance estimate calculation is based on the best possible offer available thanks to the Telepass partnership with the insurance companies.

Once your estimate has been created, it will be sent to the email associated with your Telepass contract and it will be saved on the App under the specific 'estimates archive'.

The Car Insurance service offers to the Telepass Family and Business customers the possibility to purchase, through the Telepass App, Car Insurance policies and attached warranties issued in partnership with insurance companies.

In the specific, after approval of the insurance company, you can add to your policy the following attached warranties:

  • driver injury;
  • theft and fire;
  • legal protecton;
  • glass & windshield protection;
  • car windows;
  • Kasko collision;
  • claim protection;
  • bonus protection.
